This could be the one that blows it open for Leah Andreone, whose "Its' Alright, It's OK" grazed top 40 and modern adult radio in late 1996. While replete with gritty guitars and a vocal that might pain your granny, the album also offers a graciously infectious hook and a swirl of gentle Spanish guitars at the bridge. Co-written and co-produced by the artist, "Sunny Day" shows that Andreone has been minding her business in the time she's been away. The first single from the promising new "Alchemy," hitting the streets later this month.
